My Story

My story started in Oregon, where I was born as the youngest of four kids, but my heart was truly shaped by growing up in the wild beauty of Alaska. I fell head over heels for photography when I was just 13 years old, and by 14, I officially launched my business and shot my very first wedding! I spent the next three years running that business, but at 17, I felt a strong pull to step away and pour my heart into mission work. I attended a program called AIM (Adventures in Missions), where I spent 9 months taking classes and preparing myself to become a missionary, and afterwards I spent 18 months serving in Mexico City, a season that completely changed my life and deepened my love for people. Now, I am back behind the lens, living in beautiful Montana, and more excited than ever to continue this photography journey with a fresh perspective and a grateful heart.

What Inspires Me

My biggest source of inspiration comes from simply stepping outside and looking around. I find so much creative fuel in the outdoors—there is nothing like fresh air, a killer sunset, or a quiet mountain trail to completely reset my brain and make me want to grab my camera. Ultimately, my creativity is rooted in my faith in Jesus. When I look at the beauty of creation and the incredible people I get to photograph, I see His handiwork everywhere, and it inspires me to capture this world as beautifully and honestly as I can. People, nature, and the joy of everyday life are what keep me excited to wake up and create every single day.

Behind the Lens

Behind the lens, my main goal is to make you feel completely comfortable while I take care of all the heavy lifting. I am 110% invested in my clients from the very start—meaning I am in your corner no matter what, ready to jump in and help with anything you need (even if that means fixing a stray hair or fixing a timeline hiccup!). You never have to worry about looking awkward or not knowing what to do with your hands; I will fully direct our session, guiding you into natural movements that feel like you. While we play and laugh, I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled to capture those sweet, unscripted moments—the real giggles, the quiet glances, and the magic in between. Whether we’re chasing toddlers around or navigating a busy wedding day, I’m there to support you, cheer you on, and make sure your story is captured beautifully.

My Favorite Things

When I don’t have a camera glued to my hand, I love spending time outdoors, soaking up the fresh air. I have a hugeee soft spot for kids (especially my nephew, the baby in the photo) and dogs (all kinds of animals really), and honestly, my favorite days are the ones spent camping, hiking, skiing, cooking, baking, or going for bike rides and walks. I’m a huge traveler at heart—I love everything from spontaneous roadtrips with the music cranked up, to flying to other countries for mission work. My faith in Jesus is the foundation of everything I do and keeps my heart grounded through it all. When it’s finally time to slow down, my happy place is curling up with a good book (I am a sucker for historical fiction), listening to music, and snacking on pickles! Life is an adventure, and I just love capturing all the messy, beautiful pieces of it.
